Curry spice paste (boemboe).

Briefly cook the potatoes and let them cool. Sear the chicken cubes in rice oil, then add the spice paste and coconut milk. Simmer the mixture with the potatoes until fully cooked. Serve with rice or noodles, sambal goreng beans, sambal, and Kokki Djawa rice table mix.
Replace the chicken with beef, pork, or tofu cubes if preferred.

Preparation:
Sauté the spice mix in about 2 tablespoons of oil. Add the pieces of chicken, beef, or pork and sear briefly. Then add 400 ml of water, the santen (coconut cream) or coconut milk, and the diced potatoes. Let the mixture simmer until cooked through and reduce to the desired thickness.
