Pondan Chiffon Pandan Cake Mix 400 g
Pondan Chiffon Pandan Cake Mix 400 g is an Indonesian light and fluffy cake with a pandan flavor, also known as sponge cake. It is popular in Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
What You Need:
• 1 pack of chiffon cake mix
• 7 eggs (400 g)
• 3 tablespoons of water (approximately 30 ml)
• 150 ml of coconut milk (or optionally water mixed with vegetable oil)
• Optional: Koepoe Koepoe TBM Pengemulsi, ovalet, or SP for additional stabilization to help the cake rise.
Instructions:
1. Beat the eggs for 3 minutes until creamy.
2. Add the Pandan Chiffon Cake Mix and continue to beat for about 3 minutes until the batter is smooth and thick. You can beat it longer for a few extra minutes for better results.
3. Add the oil and water or coconut milk, then mix well for about 8 minutes.
4. Preheat the oven to 165-170ºC (fan oven at 165ºC).
5. Grease a chiffon cake tin (24 cm in diameter) with butter or margarine.
6. Bake the cake for 60 minutes. Let it cool for about 10 minutes.
7. Remove the cake from the tin, and it’s ready to serve.
Ingredients: Wheat flour, cornstarch, sugar, milk powder, emulsifiers (E4271, E472b, E477), baking powder, pandan flavoring, colorings (E133, E102).
