Sari Rasa - 1 Nasi Goreng
Recipe for Sarirasa Nasi Goreng
Ingredients
• 250 grams chicken or beef
• 50 grams ham or bacon
• 1 pack of Sarirasa boemboe nasi goreng
• 2 tablespoons Daily rice oil
• 2 tablespoons Kaki Tiga Ketjap Medja (sweet soy sauce)
• 1 leek (sliced into thin strips)
• 2 eggs
• Pandan rice (cooked as per package instructions)
Instructions
1. Cook the rice
Prepare the pandan rice according to the package instructions and let it cool.
2. Cook the meat
Fry the chicken or beef until crispy, remove it from the pan, and cut it into small pieces.
3. Prepare the ham or bacon
Slice the ham or bacon into thin strips and set aside.
4. Make an omelet
Beat the eggs, cook a thin omelet, remove it from the pan, and slice it into thin strips.
5. Sauté the spice mix
Heat 2 tablespoons of rice oil in the pan and sauté the Sarirasa boemboe nasi goreng.
6. Combine ingredients
Add the meat and the ham or bacon to the spice mix. Gradually add the cooked rice, stirring and frying everything well.
7. Add color
Stir in 2 tablespoons of Kaki Tiga Ketjap Medja to give the nasi goreng a nice brown color.
8. Add leek
Add the sliced leek but do not cook it – the leek should remain crispy.
9. Garnish with omelet
Spread the omelet strips over the nasi goreng.
Serving Tip
Serve the nasi goreng with sambal badjak, atjar, and prawn crackers for a complete and authentic Indonesian meal.
